The Cypriot Academy is a voluntary body of proactive, forward-looking individuals dedicated to the advancement of Cypriot culture and achievements in the UK and beyond.

The Cypriot Academy has produced ‘The Cypriot collection’, a CD of traditional Cypriot songs sung in English and with a fresh musical interpretation by highly-regarded Cypriot composer Harry K.

The Cypriot Academy has supported ‘The Cypriot’, the acclaimed novel about love across the divide of religion and identity which has been published by Dexter Haven Publishing.

We’re especially proud of our comprehensive collection of uniquely Cypriot expressions and proverbs.

In the words of Andrikos, the legendary Cypriot fish-fryer whose earthy wisdom inspired the formation of the Cypriot Academy, ‘We thank you from the heart of our bottom.’
